Aug 17, 2017 prMac.com Limmared, Sweden - FreneticGamez is proud to announce the release of Asteroid: Space Defence 1.0, a classic space shooter for Mac OS X. The game challenges players to complete each wave by shooting down all the asteroids and other enemies and also try to collect the usefull stars you will need for upgrades of your ship. I upload Asteroid Storm year 2002 Version 1.2.1. This game works on Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X. I tested in Mac OS 9.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.5.8 and Mac OS X 10.4.11 on Power Mac G4 1.25 Ghz mirror door 2003 and games works.

A simple shoot-em-up space game . Made for Corona Defold Jam and based on Ludum Dare 39 theme 'Running Out Of Power'.
Your space ship needs a constant supply of power crystals to keep running. Shoot the asteroids to discover hidden power crystals. Watch out for enemies, they shoot back!
CONTROLS:

- Keyboard: Arrow keys = move, Space bar = fire; or
- Mouse: Drag ship with autofire
- Mobile:
- Tilt to move with autofire; or
- Tap left or right to move with autofire; or
- Drag the ship to move with autofire
