For reasons he doesn’t even know about, Tim has always felt hatred toward her. It could be because of her eyes. It could be because of her smile. Or it could simply be because she’s alive. The underlying causes can sometimes come from unexpected depths after all.

The only thing he knows for sure is that he saw her as a rival.
To defeat her. To humiliate her. To destroy her. For the first 16 years of his life, he drew breaths for those reasons alone.
But then… nothing. They eventually went their separate ways, as change is the inevitability that comes with those younger years.
Confronted with this sudden change, Tim had no other choice but to keep on moving forward, and finally adapted to a dull, productive lifestyle, forgetting even the fact that he once bore such animosity inside of him.
Until he met her again, that is.
Her Lie I Tried To Believe is a short kinetic novel about the persisting hatred of a boy throughout his life, the destructive relationship that was born from it, and the consequences he had to face as a direct result.

i was suprised on how it ended, like, shookt! it gave me goosebumps! I didn't expect it, but overall, i really like the story even though it's creepy, dark, twisted, psychological, u name it! As much as I hate the Apple “Get a Mac” campaign for its obvious inaccuracies about Windows Vista’s features and Windows in general, I bow before the talented advertising professionals and writers who have developed an almost genre in advertising. The fun starts with an informal “hi”, ends with a picture of the product and everything in between is ingenuity.

The latest of these is “Hiding” which I first saw on Engadget. I suspect this was a made-for-web ad as it exploits the very nature that the user is online. Very clever use of the ‘pikaboo’ analogy.
